1991
Founded in Kingston
Jetcon starts as a family business importing and selling vehicles from a single Kingston location.
1995
Government-certified dealer
Among the first dealers on the island to receive government certification — a standard that then covered only a handful of businesses.
2016
Listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange
Jetcon lists on the JSE Junior Market, opening the company's books to public scrutiny and its ownership to Jamaican shareholders.
Today
BAIC distributor for Jamaica
Around thirty staff across three Kingston locations — the retail showroom and workshop at 2 Sandringham Avenue and two warehouses — selling new BAIC vehicles and renewable energy products.
A listed company
Jetcon trades on the Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market. That means our accounts are public, our results are filed on a schedule, and anyone can check what kind of business they are buying a car from — which is not true of most dealers on the island.
